About Me

SpiekerAI am an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. I received my Ph.D. in Biostatistics from the University of Washington prior to completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, at which time I was also an Associate Fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics. Prior to my graduate studies and postdoctoral training, I received my Bachelor’s in Mathematics from Northeastern University.

In my spare time, I enjoy walking, cooking, and any sport with a racquet or a bowling ball (squash is unquestionably the favorite). I also have a great fondness for oil pastels and beautiful music.
