I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Biostatistics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and the Director of Graduate Studies for Vanderbilt University’s Biostatistics MS and PhD programs. My methodological work centers on causal methods for various applications including studies of mobile health interventions. My collaborations are largely in pediatrics, internal medicine, and health policy. I am the Book Review Editor for Biometrics and Co-Editor-in-Chief of Observational Studies.
In my spare time, I enjoy painting landscapes, walking, cooking, watching sports (baseball and hockey are my go-to sports these days, though in a former life I bowled competitively and played squash casually).
